The gym - I tried the rowing machine today. Students did 5 min of cardio, lots of stretching and we mostly did the leg machines

World religions: this morning Lydia Jane and Stella both presented on Taoism. We got a bonus presentation by Kenna on tap dancing. Students continue to improve- The compliment sandwich seems to be a good method for post presentation evaluation.
Creative Writing - Week 9: Writing with Objects — Details that Tell a Story
Science - we finished our psychology podcast on crowd behavior - it was a good match up for our ELA lesson this week
All our extras- typing practice today- typing speed is increasing!

LJ Math - 14.3 Interpreting Linear Graphs, and she began 14.4 Scatterplots
Gym -arm day! And S and LJ did treadmill. Finished with heat and ice.
Lunch and Learn - What Color is Your Parachute - Discovery exercise - Discover your abilities.
Science - we started psychology for students a podcast for college students covering concepts from psychology 101. Today we learned about conformity again and covered the Bobo experiment, the Stanford prison experiment, and the Milgram experiment. This is definitely the best podcast for our psychology class.

Stella Math - nap time

Graphic Design - will do tomorrow
Latin w/YiYa - Latin Genitive (posessive) case, Studied Sulla and the battle with Mithridates. Grammar: commas, possession, antecedent pronouns, splitting verbs, irony, subplot.
LJ Math - didn’t happen

Stella Math - started word problems - last lesson before the test
LJ Math - Finished Chapter 14 & Began PERT review.
Art-Continued the surrealist faces project. They are turning out cool so we are giving this project extra time.
World Religions- we watched this documentary

It was stressful and the ongoing plight of these people is a humanitarian crisis. It was strange to see the Buddhists speaking in such violent ways regarding these Muslim people.
We will watch a different documentary on the Muslim religion. This one was a bit too specific and we need a more broad overview.
