I got behind on the blog! Basically, Feb has been a PERT-Prep zone. LJ finished Algebra 1, and has been using all the PERT prep resources at her disposal. (Mometrix, Grammar/Mathchops, WS4L Pert Packet, Valencia Pert Packet). Stella is finishing Algebra 1 and is about to start PERT prep proper. Language Arts has been a Common Lit Unit on Branding and we are about to write a research paper. Everyone Started Driver’s Ed (Stella’s finished) and we finished the next World Religion - Islam - with oral presentations, and Judaism is up next. They are studying Unit 5 of Lively Latin. Creative writing has been fun, and we’re still doing Psychology for Students on our gym drives. Typing speeds are improving. Exercising is going good and we’ve been choosing new exercises from our card decks to try each week. LJ has challenged herself to do descending sit-ups, which was hard for her. Beth has been working on practical A&P this semester so we understand which bones and muscles do what. We had a Valentine’s party and we started our Dudley Farm orientation for future service hours. And we’re doing The Fallacy Detective in our Lunch and Learns. :)
