Our 2025 homeschool graduates:
VICTORIA GRIFFIN
Favorite part of homeschooling: Being able to choose my classes and study what I’m interested in, while having space in my days for downtime and musical recreation.
Favorite color: Green (all shades besides neon.)
Favorite book series: “There’s no such thing as bad weather” (Scandinavian parenting book)
Favorite class at Santa Fe: Developmental Psychology or ASL 4
Favorite instrument: Piano
Favorite band: The Indigo Girls
Favorite hobbies: Making music, playing music, pottery, soccer, acting, and reading
Favorite senior year moment: Finding out I got into college TWICE on the soccer field.
Nominate yourself for a superlative: "most likely to..." “Think the world is ending because she’s hungry.”
Advice for future graduates: If you feel like the world is ending, you probably need a snack or a walk. Or both. Try both before you decide to yell at other people.
ELI HUNTER
Favorite part of homeschooling: being with my family all the time/being able to explore nature instead of being sad in a classroom
Favorite color: fog over the ocean like in a pirate movie
Favorite book series: rangers apprentice, big book of Tashi
Favorite homeschool class: creative writing
Favorite instrument: trombone/Cajon
Favorite band: tophouse
Favorite hobbies: pottery/hiking/playing at festivals
Favorite senior year moment: getting up early and icing in the pool with my family

Advice for future graduates: don’t sweat the small stuff especially if you have a tiger mom/ watch surfs up, and don’t let the initial challenge stop you from doing new things

Favorite part of homeschooling: the flexibility and less stressful because they teach you at the pace you need
Favorite color: navy blue
Favorite book series: hunger games
Favorite class at Santa Fe: career development
Favorite instrument: guitar
Favorite band: the weeknd
Favorite hobbies: volleyball, hanging out with friends, and going to the beach
Favorite senior year moment: multiple trips to the beach

Favorite senior year moment: The day that I realized I wouldn’t have to pay for college because of my scholarships!

Advice for future graduates: Even though it can be a tough journey, you have to keep plugging through all the way to the end. (Wow so inspiring lol)

Favorite part of high school: Spending time with friends and getting to know who I am, and who I want to be
Favorite color: Maroon/navy blue
Favorite book series: One that I don’t have to read
Favorite high school class: Film Studies and Art 3
Favorite instrument: Electric guitar
Favorite band: Dreamer Isioma
Favorite hobbies: Drawing, painting and contortion
Favorite senior year moment: Getting back into playing music

Advice for future graduates: Live a little, trust your instincts and find friends who really value you as an individual and who you value the same.

ABBY HALL - B.A. In Creative Writing and Computer Science
Favorite part of undergrad: The resources!!! Universities have everything. Libraries, clubs, office hours with incredible professors and teaching assistants, as well as career and health resources (from resume/interview prep to nutrition coaching and gym classes).
Favorite color: Teal
Favorite book series: The City of Dreaming Books by Walter Moers (and others of the Zamonia Series)
Favorite class at FSU: (if you don’t mind, I want to shout out my coolest literature professor): Literature and Ecocriticism: Anthropocene Fictions with Professor Alison Sperling (https://www.alisonsperling.com/) ->> she writes cool stuff and she has awesome friends in the eco lit scene
Favorite band: Harley Poe, Oni Inc, or like fifty others.
Favorite senior year moment: The moment I finally got control of my mental health (school is so much more fun now).

Advice: Always advocate for yourself, take advantage of resources, and have fun! There will be plenty of time to figure things out.
